Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Nuuar, including the public Nuuar website, launch and waitlist experience, mobile application, and related web/server services. Nuuar is a productivity and reminder service provided by Dobleu Studio LLC, a Puerto Rico limited liability company (“Dobleu Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using Nuuar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Nuuar.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nuuar.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Nuuar only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

Nuuar is not directed to children under 13.

2. What Nuuar does

Nuuar helps you create, organize, interpret, schedule, and act on reminders and related tasks. Features may include:

• typed and voice reminder capture;
• AI-assisted interpretation of natural-language requests;
• recurring reminders and routines;
• standard notifications and urgent alarms;
• account-based reminder synchronization;
• contact-related actions performed from information on your device; and
• contextual assistance, including nearby shopping-related information where available.

Features can change, be added, be removed, or be made available only to certain accounts, devices, operating-system versions, regions, or test groups.

3. Accounts and sign-in

Some Nuuar features can be used without a permanent account. AI features may create a temporary anonymous session for security, quota, and abuse-prevention purposes.

If you create a permanent account, you are responsible for maintaining control of your device and sign-in methods. You must provide accurate information when information is requested from you and must not use another person’s account without authorization.

Nuuar may support sign-in through email, Apple, or Google. Your use of those providers is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

4. AI features and limitations

Nuuar uses artificial intelligence to interpret some requests. AI-generated or AI-interpreted information can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or wrong.

You are responsible for reviewing information that matters before relying on it, including dates, times, recurrence, urgency, shopping information, names, and other extracted details.

Nuuar’s AI features are productivity tools. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.

5. Reminders, notifications, and urgent alarms

Nuuar is designed to help you remember tasks, but delivery is not guaranteed.

Notifications and alarms can be affected by device settings, permissions, Focus modes, battery state, operating-system behavior, network availability, app state, time-zone changes, software defects, or third-party platform restrictions.

Do not rely on Nuuar as the only method for:

• emergencies or personal safety;
• medication or medical treatment schedules where a missed alert could cause harm;
• legal filing deadlines;
• financial deadlines;
• critical travel or transportation events; or
• any other situation where failure or delay of a reminder could cause serious harm, loss, or liability.

Nuuar is not an emergency service and does not contact emergency responders on your behalf.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you enter into Nuuar, such as reminder text, notes, voice-derived content, and About You information.

You give Dobleu Studio a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and transform that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Nuuar service and the features you choose to use.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Nuuar to:

• violate applicable law;
• access or attempt to access another person’s account without authorization;
• interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass Nuuar’s security or rate limits;
• introduce malicious code or use Nuuar to distribute malware;
• abuse AI, authentication, email, or infrastructure services;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
• use the service in a way that materially harms Nuuar, its providers, or other users.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, our providers, or comply with law.

8. Third-party services and information

Nuuar relies on third-party services, which may include Supabase, OpenAI, Expo/EAS, Cloudflare, Postmark, Apple, Google, and operating-system services. Google services may include authentication, analytics, and tag management.

Third-party services can change, become unavailable, or operate under separate terms and privacy policies. Nuuar is not responsible for third-party services outside Dobleu Studio’s control.

Contextual or shopping-related results may come from AI-assisted or third-party information and may be outdated, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or different from actual store inventory, location, price, hours, or conditions. Verify important information directly with the relevant business or provider.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Nuuar Privacy Policy. By using Nuuar, you acknowledge that information will be processed as described there.

10. Intellectual property

Nuuar, including its software, design, branding, logos, interfaces, and other materials provided by Dobleu Studio, is owned by Dobleu Studio or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Nuuar for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Nuuar or Dobleu Studio intellectual property to you.

11. Beta and experimental features

Some Nuuar features may be offered as beta, preview, test, or experimental functionality. These features may be less reliable, may change without notice, and may be removed.

You should not rely on beta or experimental features for critical activities.

12. Account deletion and termination

You may delete a permanent Nuuar account through the in-app account-deletion flow when available.

Account deletion removes the Nuuar account and associated Nuuar server data as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to limited retention required for security, backups, provider operations, or legal obligations. Applicable local app data is cleared after successful remote deletion.

Deleting Nuuar does not delete your separate Apple, Google, email-provider, or other third-party account.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create a security risk, abuse the service, or if required by law. Where practical and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.

13. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Nuuar available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, security, legal, technical, or product reasons. We may also impose reasonable limits on AI usage, requests, storage, or other resources.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuuar is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Dobleu Studio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dobleu Studio and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, missed reminders, missed deadlines, or business interruption arising from or related to Nuuar.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dobleu Studio’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Nuuar or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

1. the amount you paid Dobleu Studio for Nuuar during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
2. US $50.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by applicable law and do not limit liability that legally cannot be limited.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes arising from these Terms or Nuuar will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Puerto Rico.

Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact contact@dobleu.studio so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Nuuar, our providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated Terms at Nuuar’s stable Terms URL and update the effective date.

If a change is material, we may also provide notice in the app or through another appropriate method. Your continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

18. General terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer these Terms or your Nuuar account to another person without our permission. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any mandatory platform terms that apply to your download or use of Nuuar, form the agreement governing your use of the service.
